Although Vex has very low working drive, he still loves his daily walks, relaxed playtime, and being included in family adventures. He is affectionate without being demanding, playful without being overwhelming, and perfectly content to relax near his people after a little exercise. His steady nature makes him especially suitable for families wanting the loyalty, intelligence, and presence of a Border Collie without the intensity commonly found in working lines.

Vex has a sweet, trusting personality and seems to believe that every person he meets is simply a friend he has not greeted yet. He is wonderful with children, enjoys attention, and brings a peaceful, grounding presence into the home. He is the kind of dog who will happily join you for a neighborhood walk, supervise the children’s playtime, and then stretch out nearby for a well-earned nap.

Vex is expected to enter our breeding program in fall 2027. We are excited about the possibility of him passing along his stable temperament, gentle disposition, excellent manners, beautiful structer and family-friendly nature to future generations. Our hope is that he will help produce beautiful, balanced puppies that can thrive as devoted companions in real family homes.
